Other removals followed. Now, a developer who talked to Apple has the scoop on the future of iPhone titillation, and it is bleak . Really bleak. Like no racy photos, no suggestive language, no bathing suits bleak. This devastating news comes by way of TechCrunch , who has been following this story closely (but not in a weird way). Initially it seemed that Apple's new policy was to ban "overtly sexual content," which was disappointing, but, you know, understandable . Now TC has received word from a developer who has discussed the matter with "multiple App Store reviewers," and things aren't looking too hot. Not even close to hot, in fact

Student-Built "Black Widow" Racer Gets 2,752 Miles Per Gallon [Automobiles]

Tech

automobiles

blackwindow

ecomarathon

energy

energyefficiency

fuel

shell

shellecomarathon

students

A new, extended blurb for China Miéville's Kraken that I came across on Westeros (no idea as to where it originated): With this outrageous new novel, China Miéville has written one of the strangest, funniest, and flat-out scariest books you will read this—or any other—year. The London that comes to life in Kraken is a weird metropolis awash in secret currents of myth and magic, where criminals, police, cultists, and wizards are locked in a war to bring about—or prevent—the End of All Things. In the Darwin Centre at London’s Natural History Museum, Billy Harrow, a cephalopod specialist, is conducting a tour whose climax is meant to be the Centre’s prize specimen of a rare Architeuthis dux—better known as the Giant Squid. But Billy’s tour takes an unexpected turn when the squid suddenly and impossibly vanishes into thin air. As Billy soon discovers, this is the precipitating act in a struggle to the death between mysterious but powerful forces in a London whose existence he has been blissfully ignorant of until now, a city whose denizens—human and otherwise—are adept in magic and murder. There is the Congregation of God Kraken, a sect of squid worshippers whose roots go back to the dawn of humanity—and beyond. There is the criminal mastermind known as the Tattoo, a merciless maniac inked onto the flesh of a hapless victim. There is the FSRC—the Fundamentalist and Sect-Related Crime Unit—a branch of London’s finest that fights sorcery with sorcery

To Belabor a Point: The Polanski Problem

4

macbeth

nastassja kinski

nastassjakinski

roman polanski

romanpolanski

sharon tate

sharontate

tess

the ghost writer

theghostwriter
<guid

Cyclops and Storm seem somewhere about 7ft tall, Storm appears to have forgotten most of her top and, from that waistline, hasn’t been eating properly either. And poor Emma Frost has suffered from some really bad plastic surgery that’s taken at least 2 ft off her height. Kaare Andrews is normally a pretty good artist, but this is just pretty awful. This “Astonishing X-Men:Xenogenesis” relaunch from issue 1 marks the start of a new Astonishing line from Marvel, followed swiftly by “Astonishing Spider-Man/Wolverine” by Jason Aaron and Adam Kubert.
